FEC approves Revenue Assurance Solution to block leakage in telecom sector
3R Company Nigeria Limited (3R) has sent a Bill titled: A Bill for an Act to provide for the establishment of the Communication Service Tax to the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. This Bill has undergone the 1st reading on the floor of the senate.
The Bill once passed will help government increase revenue and diversify the country’s economy in this era of dwindling oil prices. This Bill is tied to another Bill titled: A bill for an act to provide for the establishment of the Youth, Elderly, the Poor and the Vulnerable Citizens Sustainability Allowance Trust Fund and other matters connected therewith, which has also undergone its first reading and is on the path to being approved by the 8th Assembly.
